M= Member

A= alert

T= to 

C= control 

H= high risk


It was created and managed by Master Card means that the bank is compiling information about businesses, about their owners whose credit card has already been terminated due to some false reasons. 

 The databases which have been collected are used by the acquiring banks to help them find the person and screened them by determining if their businesses should be given credit card opportunities or not.


Black listed companies


The reason to make a MATCH list is comprehensive.  This list is used to replace TMF (terminated Merchant file) which has all the relevant information about the black listed companies. In Short it is a process of acquiring a bank to inspect all the merchants whether they are at high risk or not.


In the MATCH list all accounts have been terminated. Being in the list means that there is something not right with your business. It is conceivable that data has been illegitimately announced or mistakenly detailed. Reasons to be on the MATCH list


There are some reasons which are the basis for the merchant to be in the MATCH list:

Fraud conviction

Excessive fraud

Bankrupt

Violation of rules and regulations

Excessive chargebacks

Illegal transaction

Merchant collusion

Identity theft

Money laundering


If you are not able to cope up with the loss or you are on the same path you will be in the list for the upcoming five years.



How do you get off from the MATCH list?


Let’s be honest . Your name will be in the list for five years and it will not be able to be removed before five years. If you want your names to be removed , first of all find the reasons why you have been placed in this MATCH list. In the event that it was a direct result of non-installment or chargebacks, take care of your equilibrium or discover how to determine the matter with your previous supplier. When you do, they can contact MasterCard for your sake.  If it is due to some fraudulent activity, then it must be ensured that you will not do it again.

 Then your names will be eliminated from the MATCH list.
